This Privacy Notice explains how Olonera.com (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit our Site and/or join our pre-registration list. It includes the information you are entitled to receive at the point we collect your data.

A) Data you give us (pre-registration/forms)
• Identity/contact: name, email, country, time zone, and any optional fields you choose to provide (eg profession: practitioner/consumer; interests).
• Communications: messages you send us (eg via contact forms).
B) Data we collect automatically (website usage)
• Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system.
• Usage data: pages viewed, clicks, referring pages.
• Cookies/online identifiers: as described in the Cookie Notice (below).
C) Special category data (health data) — approach choices
Default (recommended for pre-reg): We do not ask for health/medical details on pre-registration pages. Please do not include health information in free-text fields.
If you do collect symptom/health details (eg “what brings you here?”), you must treat that as special category data and use explicit consent plus stronger safeguards and minimisation.
- How we use your personal data (purposes + lawful basis)
We use personal data for the following purposes, relying on the lawful bases recognised by GDPR/UK GDPR, and we document this internally.
A) To run pre-registration and send updates
Purpose: confirm your sign-up, send launch updates, product/platform announcements, and early access invitations.
Lawful basis: Consent (you can withdraw at any time).
B) To respond to your enquiries
Purpose: reply to messages, provide requested information.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests (running our business and supporting users) or “steps at your request” where relevant.
C) Site security and fraud prevention
Purpose: keep the Site secure, prevent abuse, maintain logs.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests (security) and, where applicable, legal obligations.
D) Analytics (if enabled)
Purpose: understand how the Site is used and improve performance.
Lawful basis: Consent, where analytics uses cookies or similar technologies (see Cookies).
E) Legal and compliance
Purpose: meet legal obligations, enforce terms, handle disputes.
Lawful basis: Legal obligation and/or legitimate interests.

We use cookies only as described in the Cookie Notice. Where consent is required, we request it via a cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies. - Who we share personal data with
We may share data with trusted service providers acting as processors, for example:
• Email delivery / newsletter provider (eg Mailchimp/Klaviyo/etc.)
• Website hosting and content delivery networks
• Web analytics provider (only if you consent)
• Security, anti-fraud, and error monitoring tools
We require appropriate contractual protections with processors (including confidentiality, security, and restrictions on sub-processing). - International transfers
If personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, and supplementary measures as needed. - Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary:
• Pre-registration list: until you unsubscribe, or until [eg 24 months] of inactivity (then we delete or ask you to reconfirm).
• Enquiries: typically [eg 12–24 months] after last contact.
• Security logs: typically [eg 6–12 months], unless needed for investigating incidents or legal claims.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
• access your data;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to processing;
• data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time (where we rely on consent).

If you are in the UK, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). If you are in Spain, you can contact the AEPD. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address concerns quickly. - Children
The Site and pre-registration pages are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. - Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on pre-registration pages. - Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice. We will post the latest version on this page with a new effective date.
